So let's talk about the league as a whole a little bit, Jim.

To me, yesterday's losses spoke much more loudly than anybody that won yesterday.

A couple of preseason NFC favorites are two and four.

It's amazing, and I wrote about it in my column this morning at TalkNorth.com, which you can subscribe to for free, by the way.

The NFC North is by far the best division in football, which is kind of cool, but it also means that the Vikings, while they're undefeated, they haven't really gained that much ground on their competitors.

Meanwhile, the Rams... are bad.

I mean, it is bad.

And, you know, maybe that'll change.

They have the talent to get better.

Miles Garrett will come back, but they're a bad team right now.

Seahawks are three and three.

You know, the chargers are still winless.

We've seen a lot of good coaches and a lot of good quarterbacks lose a lot of games so far this season.

and we've seen some surprises.

I guess what we shouldn't be surprised, we shouldn't be surprised the NFC North is very good.

I think what's impressive is while figuring out the offensive problems and getting Kyler Murray healthy and up to speed, the Vikings... are 5-0.

It's pretty amazing.

And on paper, the 49ers are better than the Vikings, but the 49ers have even bigger injury problems and have had bigger injury problems over the last few years, so you just don't know if it's going to continue from there.

There's a path to the Vikings being

the best team in the NFC.

Yeah, there is.

And having that top seed at home, which I think once you finally get there, would certainly help the squad for sure.
