Another great game from the NFL on Monday Night Football. How do the Cowboys get so many people predicting big things for them when they've been mediocre for decades. Three of the four remaining teams…
Jim SouhanGuestTodd BergethHostA blocked field goal winds up costing the Rams a potential victory in the overtime.
They keep giving us these great games with, uh, with the big stars in the middle of it.

Yeah, and spectacular offensive performances by two great quarterbacks and two g- you know, you know, two excellent offensive coaches.

You look at it through the Vikings prism and you go, "Here, h- here, here are the Rams, who have all this star power, and they don't have a kicker."

And r- and they don't have very good special teams, and their defense is very flawed considering the amount of money they put into it.

Uh, but Josh Allen's [laughs] gotta go out there and just run, run like crazy, uh, to make that offense work.

No, I, I mean, listen, the Vikings are underrated right now, and in part because they have had a relatively easy schedule, in part because of the mess at the quarterback position, in part because people have, um, kind of conflated that the J.J. McCarthy problems were a reflection of how this- how well th- this team could compete when he was just, at best, gonna be a backup quarterback anyway.
