Jim and Todd talk about the Vikings win in New Orleans. Kyler Murray played winning football. No turnovers, from him anyway, accurate throws and key runs. If not for two red zone fumbles by teammates…

We just recorded the Viking Update show with John Kaczynski and myself talking about all these issues, and, uh, Murray was fantastic.

He was, he was great in completion percentage, avoiding turnovers, avoiding sacks, running efficiently without putting himself in harm's way.

Uh, in addition to throwing the ball well underneath and keeping the chains moving, he made about three just great throws to Jefferson.

Two in particular, the, the back shoulder down the right sideline that was not open at all and he just put it the only wa- he basically forced Jefferson to catch it, and then the touchdown pass over three defenders back left corner of the end zone.

And you look at his numbers, uh, in shotgun and pistol, he's completing, like, 85, 90% of his passes.

Uh, [chuckles] when he does throw an incompletion, it's usually him throwing the ball away to avoid a bad play.

He can just, y- you know, he-- and, you know, they hope they're gonna have Jordan Mason back after the bye.

Um, and the defense is playing phenomenally well, and it's always easy to avoid talking about special teams.

Matt Daniels' special teams unit, not only is Will Reichard perfect, but Miles Price has been fantastic.

Uh, it's really a well-coached team, and y- and I can't-- I was thinking about it today, Todd.
