We are going to be talking about Metal Gear Solid 4 because it is now playable on the PlayStation 5 thanks to the Collection Volume 2 of the Metal Gear.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was my first introduction to Hideo Kojima and Metal Gear in general.

And then it is just a very like it's one of those core memory games for me because, you know, Hideo Kojima be doing Hideo Kojima things, man, because it's just like this is the first game that I was like, oh, games can do something a bit different.

I'm not trying to hop right into everything, but it's so crazy that this is your first Metal Gear game and that you did like it so much because I feel like this game is a good standalone game.

right like i like from the very beginning of being like what's wrong with my tv why is it flipping from this octopus channel to this why is this girl making eggs in between fences like there's a point and it's my favorite thing with kojima because like you can always talk about the narratives like i believe death stranding was my favorite narrative last year um you can talk about like the scores the gameplay it's always weird and all this other stuff but there's always just something that he brings that you're gonna feel you're gonna feel his games and I do want to say looking back on it I think this game just made me feel a certain way that I was just like I didn't know I could experience something like this in a game and yeah yeah and we'll get into that here but first before anything else because we did we did not have audio episode go out last week Ernest how you doing man how's it been
