2026 UTMB Race Preview and Predictions

But with that being said, I mean, this is UTMB.

This is the most important race of the season, and it is the deepest field by far.

I think we've heard Fritjof talk about it over the week.

I think for the...

Women's side, this is the deepest field of all three races based off the mean top 50 UTMB index.

And then on the men's side, I think OCC leans slightly deeper.

But it definitely feels like one of the deepest, if not the deepest race this year on the calendar compared to last year where it felt like UTMB was actually the easiest race on both sides because of Worlds being so close.

I don't think it was...

Yeah, I think it actually was the easiest race.

I say easiest.

I mean, the least depth of both the men's and women's fields last year was in UTMB because so many people were racing shorter distances for Worlds.

So there's more depth and density in CCC and OCC, the shorter distance UTMB races.

So, UTMB, we got so much to talk about and so many exciting storylines on both sides.
