But before we get going, listeners, a couple of things you need to know coming up.
there's just 40 days till the election if you haven't checked your voter registration please do so and ask your friends everybody check it i'm sure it's fine but check it anyway make sure it's up to date and then it's a great chance to go ahead and put on your calendar exactly when you're planning to vote i went through my calendar last night i put haircuts on there till the end of the year i put my voting date on there i put uh the i spaced out how often i give my dog a bath i put that on the calendar i'm trying to get my life together emily i'm 45 years old it's finally starting to happen but i think the voting one is certainly the most important and we are all busy and i was just like oh my gosh everything is so hectic right now if we don't put it on there I think people are at risk of forgetting.

Yeah, so my favorite thing to say now, and I don't know how you're gonna feel about this based on your former life, but I've been co-opting the Know Your Status line about voter ID, right? It's something that we need to be checking.
with voter purges and address changes and all of the things that are going on, knowing your status, knowing your polling place, whether or not that has changed.
And while you're on the election board website, how about you preview a sample ballot? And know what you're going to vote for.
Do it early and make sure that you know exactly what you're doing and why you're voting for the people that you're voting for and the issues that you're voting for.
If you go to okvoterportal.okelections.gov or just go to okelections.gov and you can figure it out, go to the voter portal.
