Well, you know, for whatever reason, I thought it might have been like, I wouldn't say a trap game, but I think the sentiment was the Colorado Avalanche losing to the Philadelphia Flyers and then having to play the New Jersey Devils.
I was worried about that first period because that's the chance for the Devils to make a statement after that last game against the Capitals where in the second period they just didn't come out.
And I was afraid that Colorado would be on their A game right from the get-go and the Devils would come out flat because you just never know which team comes out.
But it turned out that the Devils were pretty much, for the most part in this game, in control.
But, you know, other than that, like, I thought the Devils played a pretty, I wouldn't say a complete game, but that's as good as it's going to get against the, you know, last year's President Trophy winning team.

And obviously he made that one play in my car and T in Devon Tays, one of the best defensive doers in the, in the world.

arsene gritsik it looks like a different player since being put on that first line and and you kind of saw that a little bit last year where he seems to thrive with opportunity and maybe it's just the time right having more time in ice he he kind of gets into a better better rhythm but i think sheldon keep has to learn from that and you kind of have to just stick with gritsik in the top six as as much as you possibly can um I thought Jake Allen played really well.

The two late goals notwithstanding, I think that there was just a lot of being under siege, and I can't really blame him for any of the goals I can remember.

Because the one criticism I had of Jake Allen was I thought his rebound control was pretty bad.

But the defenseman always had his back on that for the most part, except for – I can't remember whose goal it was, but I think it was on the – it was on the McCarr play, right, where they got a couple whacks at it at his pads at the McCarr play.
