Nick Villano

But can you tell me why Stan Fischler has not been inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame? They're the people that vote media members in to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

And I've been complaining about this, and Nick Villano as well, and it's starting to pick up steam with other media members.

I know Matt Laughlin, a good friend of the podcast, pointed it out yesterday, you know, in a tweet or a post on X or Twitter, whatever you call it.

And why isn't Stan Fischler, 94, 95 years old, and still writing about hockey? Hockey historian? Pioneer, him and his wife, his late wife Shirley, who Stan Fischler is a good friend of the podcast, which we should get him on.

Yeah.

I'm your host, Sam Wu, here with pucksandpitchforks.com editor-in-chief Nick Villano as we're streaming live on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, X Live, Twitch, and now on Instagram Live on the Let's Go Devils Network.

Coming to you live, live from the Primetime Radio Studios, both North and South Jersey, covering the Garden State, talking about Devils hockey.

Wait a second.

Elite.

And Nick Villano put that out there on the Pucks and Pitchforks Twitter account, at PitchforkBuck.

Elite.

This is what we've been wanting to see for a while now.

Goaltending, goaltending, goaltending.

Getting Connor Hellebuck at the very least, and I said this yesterday on the State of the Fan address with Nick Villano, pucksandpitchforks.com, that taking Connor Hellebuck off the market does wonders for the New Jersey Devils because Carolina Hurricanes and their jealous fans do not have that number one goaltender.

They could have been kind of like the most dominant NHL team had they gotten Connor Hellebuck

in net

that he said a Devils fan text messaged him and saying, oh, instead of Dylan Larkin going to Minnesota, maybe the way of New Jersey.

I know Nick Villano has been on that wagon for a long time now, going back to last season.

What are your thoughts of Dylan Larkin in New Jersey if Sonny Maida was going to make a trade?

Yeah, I'm interested to hear what Roman thinks, too.

I would

assume that Mercer would be part of this deal with Detroit.

Going by what Nick Villano said on X and also on State of the Fan Address, that Mercer would be part of that deal.

So he's out of the roster.

This is the State of the Fan Address, episode, I think it's 371, titled Back to Black Parade.
