Is your marketing actually growing your business, or just keeping you busy? It's easy to get caught up in website traffic, social media followers, clicks and impressions. But how much of that…

I'd like to go into the returning investment piece a little bit later because I think sometimes it's harder to do.

But in terms of Urban Element then as a business for anyone listening or watching that hasn't heard of Urban Element, I guess my question is what's the main problem that you look to solve and who do you work with to achieve that?
So I would say the biggest thing we look to tackle is really demonstrating that return on marketing spend, because a lot of times marketing is seen as a cost rather than an investment.
And what we're really good at doing at Urban Element is actually helping, say, a head of marketing make that case for more investment in marketing.
And yeah, just helping them demonstrate that return has a big impact on what we can achieve with marketing.
And we do that very with actually got quite specific sectors that we're very, very good at doing that in.
And more recently, we've done quite a bit in the logistics side of things as well.
And so there's often almost a bigger barrier to kind of adopting that digital marketing piece.
So I feel like that's where we've really come into our own because actually when we can demonstrate the return on marketing spend, it allows them to more easily transition into that kind of digital piece and actually buy into it more easily.

So what I'm hearing is you're almost, if I'm working in marketing internally, you're buddying up with me to say, how do we get you to be taken, not that marketing shouldn't be taken seriously around the table, but how do we really talk commercially and strategically rather than, you used that phrase earlier, cost rather than investment, and I hear that quite a lot.

appreciate you may not be able to mention specific client names, but do you have any examples where you've been able to demonstrate that return on investment and what it looks like?
