Masjid Al Falaah - 27th September 2026 - 'The Great Fajr Campaign' with Mufti Adam
Adam EsmailHost
Masjid al-Aqsa as we've been discussing, is going through one of the most difficult periods in the history of its occupation.

And we discussed last week and the week before how currently right now during these festivals, these consecutive festivals that happen at this time of the year, in which large and mass incursions are taking place into al-Masjid al-Aqsa, what we have to realize is what is at stake.

What's actually in danger? And the misconception that most Muslims have is they think that as long as Masjid al-Aqsa is standing, when we say Masjid al-Aqsa is standing, what do we mean? We mean, like if I say as long as Masjid al-Falah is standing, what do we mean by as long as Masjid al-Falah is standing? the building, right? And that's what we understand.

But when we've had riots, for example, when we've had Islamophobic attacks, for example, when we had Maccabi Tel Aviv, for example, prior to that, if you remember many, many years ago when the Iraq war happened, what happened with the Saddam Masjid, thus they changed the name, right? When incidents like those happened, That's the only time where we get really agitated, thinking, oh no, the building's under attack, and people are smashing the windows.

So we see the Dome of the Rock, or we see the Musalla Qibli, which are buildings within al-Masjid al-Aqsa.

So instead of touching these, they're very happy for people, Muslims, to go inside these.

What's happening is they are causing corruption in other parts of Masjid al-Aqsa, the parts that you don't think are Masjid al-Aqsa, and then getting away with it by that.

And day by day, this desecration is escalating, it's increasing, it's happening more and more.

Now, why should we be concerned about that? Shouldn't they be allowed to go and pray? And so these are the questions general Muslims have in their minds.

They don't say out aloud, but have it in their mind thinking, well, what's wrong with praying inside? But this is the thing.

The idea is to change this whole site from being a masjid into another identity altogether.
