But this particular scandal was a family whose father told his children that when he passed away, they would inherit a $200,000.

They would inherit a $1 million trust that went along with that ranch, and most importantly, they would inherit a lot of 200-inch deer that were on that ranch.
And so for years, their father would tell the story about what this place looks like.
He would paint pictures of the sunsets and the sunrises.
He would paint pictures of the beautiful rustic cabin that was on the grounds of this ranch.
And the day came where the father was under hospice care and he passed away.
And every single child was greatly excited.
Because though they missed their father, they had been told about this place for decades.
And now they finally get to see it with their own eyes.
So they begin to gather the paperwork together, the legal documents, and they get in the car, fill it up with gas.
They're excited about what may be.
And they start to see the landscape come before them.
And as they arrive, they discover a scandalous truth.
And the scandalous truth is that somebody already lives there.
There is a whole encampment.
of grandparents, parents, grandchildren.
There are barns, there are horses, there are cows.
There is a whole life that has been established at this place that they had heard about for years and years that they thought was theirs.
And come to find out, there was a mistake in the legal documents.
