Well, they, they certainly keep providing, uh, more information on their side of the equation at the moment than the, "This can't work over the long haul." It...

And, uh, I think, uh, you know, they are the analytical outlier in all of this.

You know, Sunday was the 13th one-score win the team has had, uh, since the start of last season, and that, that is just a ridiculous number in any way you frame it.

And, uh, you know, everybody I know in the league who has any sort of, uh, part in an analytical department will always talk about regression to the mean and, you know-

And, uh, in terms of comeback wins and one-score victories, uh, they haven't hit the wall yet.

You know, he always has a hint of pessimism anyway, but, uh, I think he would rather not walk the tightrope so often.

But, uh, I think if they somehow find a way to, to keep the defense playing on the key downs the way they played, you know, in the, in the second half of these games that they've won, and Bo Nix can, can sort of be the, the guy who steers the car just well enough at the end, it, it is a formula right now, and it is working.

And I, I think there is something to be said, you know, however many points it's worth, uh, they truly believe they can function in that environment.

And, and I think that's the real tangible bonus in all this that I've been around a lot of teams that wondered how they would do, you know, when the pressure was on, and they wondered how they would do if they were down to the last down, you know, in, in the game.

And, and this team doesn't wonder, they know, and, and that can be a little bit of a powerful advantage.

I keep relating them to the mid-'80s Broncos because that's just what a lot of this feels like at times with the magical comebacks and all this.

But you also know in the Super Bowls or in some of the bigger games, all of a sudden you don't keep the game in check.

Um, and also, you know, we always ask you every week, can you explain why it looks one way in the first half and then another way in the second? You keep pointing to the run game.

Nate has talked about how bad this Niners run defense has been, at least by the numbers.

Is this the true test this week where if they don't get it figured out, we should be concerned?

I, I think they're, I think they're willing to be more true to the team they are when the, when the heat's on.
