Azers are elemental beings native to the elemental plane of fire and sometimes found in the fiery regions of the elemental chaos.

Unlike typical elementals, they possess a structured communal society with defined roles prioritizing the collective over the individual.

They are renowned for their exceptional skill as artisans and smiths, crafting some of the finest metalwork in the multiverse.

This talent and their knowledge of the fiery planes has unfortunately led them to being targeted for enslavement by creatures like the efreet, with whom they have a long and bitter history stemming from a betrayal after the Azers helped build, build the City of Brass.

They forge new Azers from bronze, imbuing the metal with a spark of their inner flame, making their creation a slow and deliberate process, contributing to their relative rarity.

When it comes to a description of the Azers, Azers bear a striking resemblance to dwarves, possessing stout, muscular builds and broad shoulders.

However, their skin has a metallic sheen, typically brass, bronze, or copper in color.

Instead of hair and beards, they have actual flames that flicker and dance without consuming them.

Their bodies constantly radiate intense heat, making close proximity dangerous.

They often adorn themselves with simple but functional kilts and apron-like garments made of worked metal.

They're like, they're like, they're like just jacked up, steroided Scottish people.

[laughs] Uh, themes surrounding Azers, the primary themes associated with Azers are fire and heat, elemental craftsmanship, lawful neutrality and, and communal society, ancient grudges, especially against the efreet, and a sense of dwarven resilience and stoicism combined with elemental power.

They embody the order that can be found even within a chaotic element like fire, channeled through skilled labor and a strong sense of duty.
