Episode 409 - ‘M&M Hour Part 1: The Valley Men are Red Pilled’ with Melissa Reich

Well, I am so excited because if you guys are listening on Sunday, August 2nd, it is gonna be, I believe, the finale episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and then we get a three-part reunion.

And I think this is gonna be an incredible reunion.

It was a very good season, and I would implore those of you who have not watched this season to go ahead and watch the reunion anyhow just because, I don't know, I think it's gonna be funny.

I think that there's gonna be drama.

I just am very excited to see what we have going on.

So I've really enjoyed this season, especially the latter half of the season.

I very much enjoy Pinky now.

I wasn't sure how I felt about her at first.

She seems to sort of recalibrate halfway through the season, and I have just found her to be very entertaining and very funny, um, the last few episodes.

And then K. Michelle is an interesting one.

I still don't feel like I quite understand her.

She's a bit of an enigma, and so, um, I wanna keep watching her because I'm not exactly sure what she's gonna do next or how she's gonna react to things.

And Angela, oh my God, Angela Oakley is one of my favorite Housewives right now.

I just find her to be so, like, vintage, so old school Housewives.

And when she joked in the reunion trailer that Kelly had new teeth and no home, [laughs] it's, it's just ...

It was just such a good read 'cause Kelly has this new boyfriend who paid for her to get veneers.

So it was, like, something like $70,000 for her whole mouth to be with veneers, and this woman doesn't have a place to live [laughs] and is in an insane amount of debt and has had to file for bankruptcy.

So it's like [laughs] if you're gonna take 70,000 from a man, [laughs] I don't know, maybe put it towards rent.

Uh, made me laugh.

Anyway, so this week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, so it's interesting to watch the Shamia and Porsha fight play out because they were very, very good friends, close, almost like sisters.

And then I think things started to shift when Shamia wanted to be a full-time housewife.

This was sort of Porsha's thing.

I think Porsha knew that the show with both of them being full-time housewives could work poorly for their friendship and I think maybe made a comment as such.

And then Shamia took it as, oh, she doesn't want me to shine.

She doesn't want me to, you know, shine alongside her, whatever it is.
