James RezaHostdavid it's great to have you here bro uh this is a huge moment to release over your third full-length album if i'm not mistaken prairie arriving june 26th through blue grape music and you've described these songs as the culmination of everything bike routes was meant to be i think it's roots actually from the very from the very beginning even going back to those coffee shop shows a decade ago i'm gonna take you on a little time lapse yeah Before we dive into the album itself, dude, how are you? I know we're midway through 2026, which is crazy to think about, but now that Prairie is just weeks away from being out there in the world, do you kind of have to paint yourself for a moment? It's almost like a rebirth of who you are as a person, even as an artist.

So you look back at... maybe like those those really early you know coffee shop days or whatever um what what was the dream back then and how does it compare to what you're what you're living or what you're about to be living yeah
yeah yeah i think uh it's funny i say this all the time i'll say this on stage i'll say this when people ask uh I think the dream came true a decade ago.
The dream was always to just play shows, find people that could help me play live shows as a band and play those shows with my best friends and Yeah, and I think that was always kind of the mindset, even back in those coffee shop days.
And so the first time we got to play a show, like, out of state, I was like, oh, that's the dream come true.
