Inter Xtra Ep. 059 | WILL INTER OWN ANOTHER CLUB? Inter legend remembered on San Siro birthday!

We do want to.

At InterExtra, we want to give our heartfelt condolences out to Sandro Mazzola and his family as he passed away.

I believe, yes, it was on the 18th.

So it was a week ago, last Friday.

I apologize.

It would have been the morning of the 19th.

It was the 18th for me in the United States.

But that was on the 100th anniversary of the San Siro.

And of course we don't want to lose any of our legends at Inter and it was a sad day.

I know there's many many Interisti alive that actually were able to watch him and enjoy him.

So I can't imagine what they're feeling.

I do know that if there was a time, a poetic way for Sandro Mazzola to come back to Inter in the news, it was to share this anniversary with the San Siro, a man that shared so much history with the stadium and with the club.

So there are some beautiful pieces out there and some beautiful tweets that people put out remembering him.

If you don't know about Sandro Mazzola, he was a part of the Grande Inter team when they won our first two Champions League in Inter's history.

Please go look those up.

Friend of the show, Nima Tavali-Ruzzari has a good piece.

There are some other inter-journalists that I've also seen have some wonderful pieces about Sandra Mazzola and interviews over the years.

And if you look up on Inter's Inter-Extra's page, we, you know, We posted about it, but also Lautaro Martinez posted on Instagram about it.

He still had a connection with the club, you know, until the very last minute.

So he loves this this club and we love him for sure.

So, yes, once again, just wanted to reiterate our heartfelt condolences and thoughts and prayers out to his family in this time.

And to shift, started off with some heavy news, but we will shift into the games now with some, I guess, in the spirit of Pazza Inter and, you know, the history of this club.
