The historic floodlit expanse of the Stadio Olimpico played host to an absolute classic of a Serie A fixture as Lazio and AC Milan battled to a pulsating two to two draw.

It's a result that keeps both teams ticking over, but perhaps not the statement wins they were looking for.

Genoa CFC also drew, one-all with Frosinone Calcio.

The title races, both in Spain and England, are already shaping up to be fascinating battles.

Real Madrid's emphatic win and Arsenal's continued strong form mean that the frontrunners are pulling away, but the chasing pack is never too far behind.

In Italy, it's still early days, but Milan and Lazio will be looking to close the gap on the leaders.

And in Germany, Dortmund's relentless pursuit of the top spot is a joy to watch.

Genoa have lost their opening three Serie A matches.

But they have faced Napoli, Lazio and Como.

So getting to face Frosinone here is a lot easier.

And they should be able to make the most of it.

I think they get their first home win of the season, which is why I've included this game on the show.
