They're heading to New Orleans.
his home state over there.
And again, take it with a grain of salt, plans to play and being healthy and ready to go is a different story.
How are you feeling with JJ? I know it feels like a 50-50 still when we spoke about it at the start of the week, and it kind of feels like maybe a 60-40 as we get closer.
Yeah, how many times have we heard players say they want to play and the team holds them? For me, it's not nothing news, but it's about as close to nothing news as you can get.
I would love to see him out there, but again, we want the best players in football to play when football is really important at the back end of the year.
So if he is underdone even slightly, I'd rather him sit out and you know make sure he's right for a decent run towards the back end because there's nothing more frustrating than someone coming in underdone re-injuring themselves and then being out longer term we've seen it already a bunch of times this year so i hope he plays but if he doesn't i'm not throwing the toys out the cot
and it feels like it's a very similar situation for lamar jackson too again yeah Could be a chance to play.
Will he play? He's their star player.
Why run the risk with that ankle with what we saw last year when he was a little bit injured and played through it? Did not perform where we needed him to be whatsoever.
So, again, another one to check out on Lamar.
Again, up in the air, we don't have definitive answers as of yet.
He sounds like a true 50-50.
As we get to Jamar Chase, D-Fab, again, concussion protocol, it's... more often than not these guys always miss a week is that kind of where we're leaning with chase as we head into it
yeah chase it's just assume he's missing until he's not um and have a have a pivot ready to go almost you know have your pivot starting or have your pivot on field and then go back if he gets cleared before sunday because concussions are weird they can linger we have rough ideas but it's just when the person responds so I reckon they'll give him right up to game time before they try to clear him.
I think he's probably leaning towards out.
Every year he'll have something that looks like it's questionable, holds him out for a week or two.
Yeah.
Yeah, and similar to Lamar, like Tee Higgins, he just always has these kind of soft tissue injuries.
