Inside the Draw Much to my delight, she was thorough value for the win, I thought, in the end.

I didn't watch the first set because I was putting the kids to bed.

I watched most of the second set and I watched all of the third set.

She's serving really, really well and she's dialed in.

There weren't a ton of mistakes, especially on her own serve.

She looked super.

So she obviously got broken serving for it, but I did feel that the break back was potentially coming and she hustled really well and she plays Sabalenka and I did not think that Either of those two girls would be here maybe two weeks ago when I was doing the preview.

Sabalenka was obviously coming in in terrible form.

She had been beaten by Sarah Bailack.

Compared to that, she basically lost seven tournaments in a row.

She hasn't won a tournament since the Sunshine Double in Indian Wells in Miami.

But what a way to bounce back.

And Rudi Baquina came in as a massive participation doubt with an Achilles injury.

So I didn't think we would get either of these playing here.

And they've both been thoroughly deserving.

So I will come to all that in a couple of moments.
