There were moments of good and moments of lots of bad, but it's amazing how as children we can adapt and, like you said, jump in front of the television, disassociate, immerse yourself into another, right? It's part of your survival.

I think as a 50 year old woman now, I'm still looking at patterns of behavior from my childhood.

Do we ever stop growing? If we have a heartbeat and consciousness and awareness about us, do we ever stop growing? I mean, I was literally having this conversation with myself this morning.

And I'm challenged by what that dynamic brings up in me that I have an opportunity to still explore and work on and be better at, you know, and to put some specificity around that.

It's how do I tolerate patience and how do I remain calm and not so driven by the need to control a situation and make sure that my daughter has everything in, you know, doing things in the way that I perceive she needs to do and then not being emotionally affected by that or dysregulated by that because it's not her.

But then even the question, what am I nailing? What am I attempting to get perfect here? Yeah, that's right.

No, it's getting really curious about it, isn't it? And I know having three children myself, they're all a bit older now, but – whoa, like that was such a ride.
