I'm steering very clear of the Sydney Kings to start the season.

As you mentioned, they don't play a double until round five, so that's a long time that you're holding onto these guys.

But it is worth noting that i- if you've got a few spots left on your bench or maybe one or two spots in your starting lineup on guys you're not set on, to look ahead to that fixture, because you can really set yourself up.

With Cole Anthony's on the sidelines just taking it easy, Tom, Tom Wilson had things going.

And all these early predictions that we get asked to make are just that, they're predictions.

Well, if Jack McVay shoots the ball like he did against Brisbane the other night, I think the whole league should be put on notice about how good his season's going to be.

I don't think it would be a shock.

I think there's been disruption with the Sydney Kings this offseason.

Obviously, Kendrick just coming back in.

And we've got the National Basketball League getting underway this weekend with the Kings hosting the Cairns Taipans at Afterpay Arena at Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday from five o'clock.

So plenty of excitement around the National Basketball League and all of those who support the Violet Crumbles, the Sydney Kings.
