Yeah, is it different every time? A
1:49
little bit.
1:49
I mean, yes and.
1:52
The fundamentals are that I have moved into the personal transformation industry, if you like, human performance, human potential space, because I'm just deeply fascinated by people.
2:05
I'm fascinated by the way we relate to things that matter to us, to painful experiences, to our dreams and our visions, to people, to ourselves.
2:16
It's very fascinating to me and I'm very inspired by how can we evolve that.
2:24
And where that comes from, if you sort of look at my background, is yes, I moved into studying this in a formal way, psychology, developmental psych, behavioral science, trauma, the nervous system, human optimization, mindset, et cetera, like all those areas and continue to study, of course.

13:23
Well, what are the attachment styles?
13:53
Why do you think so many people have a hard time with this ability to stay in a long-term relationship and receive and express love?
14:03
Yeah, at a surface level, it's an addiction.
14:05
We talk about addiction, but it's an addiction to our survival strategies and our survival patterns that were usually formed from a very young age, developed during our formative years, helped us literally survive our social terrain and maybe even our physical terrain.
14:20
And so we developed ways of being relationally that help keep us alive, help keep us not hurt, not in too much pain, et cetera, but then carry over into adult relationships that don't really work.
14:31
They're not reciprocal strategies.
14:33
They're not cohesive strategies for giving and receiving love in healthy, dynamic, open ways, right? They're not transparent.
14:41
They're secretive.

I believe that that's kind of at the core of all of it, right? What does it mean to feel love?
