But right now, let's get to the lead because there was also big news this week at Florida State where Athletic Director Michael Alford is at.

I think there are a lot of people who were surprised to see this news outside of Tallahassee.

in Tallahassee, and it became clear that there was growing friction and tension among Alford, the university, the board, and Seminole boosters to the point where President Richard McCullough told me earlier this week they just lost confidence in Michael Alford as their leader moving forward as they try and figure out the direction to take Florida State Athletics in this whole new modern college football landscape.

But you were behind the eight ball on this because Nobody had done anything for so long.
Florida State is in a much better place, including, by the way, being able to get out of the ACC a lot cheaper if they choose to do that because of Michael Alford.
The revenue sharing distributions from the ACC have changed entirely because of Michael Alford's insistence on discussing these things and pushing for these things.

Once these universities now started to get involved in, well, there's all this money that our athletic department needs.

Then that makes the athletic director's job a little bit harder in terms of, okay, how are we going to figure out how to spend the money? Because the university and the board now are involved in how to spend the money.
