Discover the transformative journey of Dr. Jeremy Brook, a Chiropractor, yogi, and movement specialist, as he shares his unconventional path into Chiropractic care and the profound impact it has on…
And you're still teaching now? What, what elements are you teaching at the moment of your own and, and yeah, what, what do you do behind the scenes?
Yeah, behind the scenes, so [clears throat] from 2020 to like 2023, uh, I was doing...
And then after my second born, um, I was like, "You know what? I'm, I'm, I don't like traveling and being away from my family." Like I literally would get on the airplane and start looking at photos of my kids.
Uh, now I got, I got three right now, and I just said, "You know what? I just don't wanna be away from my family." So I kinda was like, "What's more important?" I had the practice, I have my family, got little kids, and, uh, so as far as the teaching goes, I stopped doing more of like the seminar, uh, series, and I was like, I was pumping, man.
I was like 10 seminars, uh, in a 12-month period like each year, and, uh, it was, it was the jam.
So then I kinda shifted gears more to, uh, where chiropractors would do a private like, uh, two days or a day and a half training, uh, with me.
They'd have to bring, you know, their own, uh, test dummies, [chuckles] uh, either some friends, you know, or like their significant other, and I would do basically a private one-on-one training and be like, "All right, let's see what you got.
Let's see what we're working with," and then we fine-tune it, and I like that.
You know, there's a difference between taking somebody from like a first, second, third quarter who's got raw skills and then even a higher level quarter student where maybe they've, they've been able to put some things together, which is, which is also very enjoyable.
But it was also kinda cool taking it to the next level, working with chiros who have already been in practice for a bit and taken their, their skills to the next level.
So, you know, still do that once in a while, and it's not really something that I'm, I'm going out and promoting.
That's a lot of fun just 'cause I can like dive into the anatomy, the minutia from the biomechanical to the energetic to the vitalistic, and you're basically just talking chiropractic language and merged with yoga language.
Um, and then here at now Light and Bone, we used to be called the Life Centric Chiropractic, but Light and Bone is our, is the new creation.
Whereas before I was like the founder of the practice, now I'm a co-founder with my wife.
But as far as what I'm actually teaching here after the boom is the, we call it the system.
So like after you boom, you get the adjustment, I felt like, all right, you just, you just cleared the interference.
