Hey there and welcome to another edition of the In Layman's Terms podcast.

I'm Steve Layman, play-by-play voice at Belmont Men's Basketball and the sports anchor at News Channel 5 in Nashville.

Hope you're ready for a new school year.

Probably a lot of you already have kids back in school, but a new Belmont school year is on the way.

We've got sports underway.

So much coming up this winter as well that we're excited about.

And I'm fired up today because we're going to talk to Christian Sadler, Associate Athletic Director for Video Productions at Belmont.

And what Christian does is bring all these games and events to life for you, the fan.

And he does such an incredible job, award-winning broadcast for Belmont across so many sports in the OVC, the Missouri Valley Conference, and really nationally as well.

You see his work all the time.

You see the stories.

You see the highlight reels after games.

You watch the broadcast, especially when Belmont's on the road and those sort of things, and the games and the highlights at home and all that sort of stuff.

You see all that.

But...

Now you get the opportunity to learn who Christian is.

And he has an incredible story.

Growing up in the Nashville area, coming to Belmont, learning his trade there, moving on to staff and working up into this position where now he runs the video productions department and has had so many great success stories from students and so many great broadcasts as well.

I think it's a really interesting conversation from one of Belmont's own Somebody to be really, really proud of.
