Now let's talk about lessons because there have been many over the past seven years, but I've narrowed it down to seven, one for each year.

Starting with lesson one: go all in from day one and don't wait for the perfect time.

I was a VA and social media manager who had 10 plus years of admin experience, a marketing degree, and a dream to stay home every single day with my dog, Ned.

I was fully booked after four months, and then in the following 12 months, I got my website live, I created my first lead magnet, launched my first digital product, and joined a high-level mastermind.

She didn't wait until things felt less scary, and she definitely didn't wait for the perfect time, because here's what I know to be true: the perfect time doesn't exist.

Plus, I've also never understood the concept of waiting, because what exactly are you waiting for? The Dark Lord to return? So what looks like luck from the outside is almost always just someone who decided to start before they felt ready.

So if you're sitting on something new right now, an offer, an idea, a decision, I'm gonna ask you the same thing I ask myself: what exactly are you waiting for? Now onto lesson two: when things go to shit, you get to pivot.
