Chris Pierce

[dog howling] [upbeat rock music] It's time for How Did I Get Here? And now, here's your host, Johnny Goudie.

All right.

Hey, it's Johnny.

I'm your host.

Welcome to the show.

Um, uh, as you can tell by the sound of my voice, if you're a regular listener, I'm not feeling well.

I've got a cold that's not going well.

Um, [laughs] I've got shows this week and stuff, so I gotta get rid of it soon.

So I'm gonna make this intro brief, gang.

I hope you had a good weekend.

I had a good weekend except for the fact that I got sick.

I saw Susanna Choffel play, uh, on Friday night at C-Boys.

Great show.

Get out there, 6:30 PM, no cover.

Amazing band, amazing musician.

Got to see my friend Chris Gebhard from Skyrocket playing with her, too, which was nice.

I came in thinking it was gonna be the great David Polkingham, but it was Chris Ma- uh, Chris, uh, Gebhard, which made me very happy.

Got back, uh, my girlfriend Darlene came back from New York.

We got to see each other a little bit, but she's also sick.

I'm sick.

It's like this cold festival.

[laughs] What do you do, man? I've got gigs this week, gang.

Uh, Wednesday night is my last Wednesday.

Wednesday, uh, September 16th is my last Wednesday at, uh, at Ranch 616, 6:00 PM.

Come on out.
