But, uh, overall I'm ready to talk about everything we missed and everything that's been coming o- out of Woodland Hills.

Yeah, Gilbert, and talking about that and the discourse that came out of that, uh, Saints preseason game, uh, for the Rams, and that is that Stetson Bennett, uh, played the whole first of half, and then Ty Simpson took the second half.

And apparently with him getting all the, the f- the reps in the first half, people came away with, "Hey, it's gonna be Stetson Bennett QB 2, and Ty Simpson, who had a run with the threes and the four, is now the third... uh, QB 3." So, and then there was a, like I said, there was a bunch of discourse about this.

And so with that said, today, uh, Sean McVay said that the Rams will carry three quarterbacks on their initial 53-man roster.

So let me get your reaction to that, and what does that do for, you know, the 53-man roster, the initial 53-man roster?

You know, I have a lot of thoughts, but the, the first one that, that, you know, I have after hearing that Sean McVay is gonna, you know, pretty much carry three quarterbacks, which, you know, i- it's gonna be hard to make the numbers, uh, uh, make the math work when it comes to the 53-man roster.

But it tells me that Sean McVay and Les Snead were just looking for some improvement from Stetson Bennett.

Like early on in the summer, I think they wanted to hand Stetson Bennett the QB 2 job.

He, he was pretty up and down in the first preseason game against the Chiefs.

And then Ty Simpson was fantastic in that debut against the Chiefs, and it kind of made them think for a little bit, "Okay, let's, uh, let's try something, something different, because our initial plan here i- is not working." Like, you know, Stetson Bennett is in year four, and we wanna give Ty a red shi- red shirt year, this might not work.

So I think they started thinking about other scenarios, which is good on them, you should do that.

But still, I think they, they reverted back to their original plan, a plan they really wanted to lean forward into.

So any sign of Stetson Bennett, you know, playing well or, or, or showing improvement, I think they took it, they ran with it, confirmed it, he is gonna be QB 2.

I know Sean McVay has not confirmed who's gonna be QB2, but let's be real, they really wanna give Ty Simpson a red shirt year.

I'm not ready to talk about this part just yet, but how are you gonna make the numbers work? That's something that we're gonna have to discuss.

But the whole Stetson Bennett, you know, discourse is just, it's a fascinating thing.

He's also an older, what should we call him, project? Prospect? He's not a prospect anymore.
