So the first winner, and I'm writing a piece up on this man right now to release tomorrow morning.

And I'm so proud, so happy to just continue touting this guy as one of the best receivers, if not the best receiver on the Colts.

You know, before they drafted Josh Downs, as all you Colts fans know, Chris Ballard's big thing with receivers was athleticism and size.

He wanted the lanky, the lanky guy who could just, you know, jort downfield and haul in some catches, who could out physical.

you know certain defensive backs and I really do believe that it was when they made Reggie Wayne the wide receivers coach for this football team I think that's when he put in his opinion that Josh Downs I don't really care if he's five foot nine this guy's route running his top notch his hands are top notch being such a short receiver he has an outrageously wide uh catch radius You don't usually see that from shorter receivers, but his catch radius is insane.

He can also catch contested balls, not as good as Pierce, of course, but that's because Pierce is arguably the best in the NFL at the deep ball and at the contested catch.

But Daniel Jones has been dealing with a lot of pressure and only hit 24 out of 36.

I would assume that's pretty much what your average quarterback is going to be doing.

But I will tell you right now, They are targeting the hell out of Josh Downs this season.

Even when Pierce was on the field against the Ravens on a snap, when he had his snaps capped off as he's coming back from injury, Josh Downs was still targeted heavily.
