We're gonna read the Word this morning.

And it's a word to the church.

It is actually a word to a church in Philippi.

And some people who are having issues with about the right rights.

What's the right thing to do? That's the context of it.

But let's have a look.

Philippians 3, verses 7 to 11.

And it's Paul, and he's gotten a mention already.

So amazing, super apostle Paul.

It's using market terms.

I've weighed it up on the balance beam.

I've weighed it up.

And actually everything I once had, everything that I thought was so important, I've weighed it up and it's sadly wanting in the light of Jesus.

It's sadly wanting in the love that I've found in Jesus Christ.

I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.

Not only that, he says, I consider them garbage.

You know, he's still operating in the world.

We've still got to live somewhere.

We've still got to be in the world.

But he's saying, hey, if this has got a hold of your heart, You need to know, I've weighed it up.

And he says, it's garbage.

He was a Jew.

But that which through faith in Christ, the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith, I want to know.

Christ.

I actually want to know Him.
