I don't think Dan's the man.
I just don't see a team that wants to back their manager.
I like to use Lou Piniella as a great reference because I think even Scott Service, I think those players would go through a wall for him.
I think they kind of go, you don't have my back.
Why the hell do I have yours? Um, I think there's been lots of opportunities where, you know, we needed a spark and you don't need, you know, your, you don't need your second baseman or Naylor or Rosarito getting tossed because you need them in the game.
Your manager, you can go, you've got plenty of people.
You're, you're only going to use analytics.
Someone else with a tablet can go, Oh, he would have done this.
Let's just do that.
To me, it's just, it's not, it's, it, it just not working.
Um, and I think maybe the other take that I have is I'm not fully impressed with what the photos done.
Um, I think he's, I think organizationally he brought in a philosophy.
I think that's been very, very successful, but I think he gets a lot of credit for the guys he's drafted.
But if you go and actually look at, you know, who they are and what they were going into that draft, I mean, it was guys that, were kind of no brainers in that situation.
You know, you look at Emerson Hancock, he was, we've drafted him fourth overall in a lot of places.
He was the number one pick number one prospect.
So it's like, well, he landed at you Gilbert.
I think we drafted him 14th.
He was 16th overall Kirby.
We drafted him 20th.
He was anywhere from 16 to 20.
