I just want to pray before we do anything else.

I want to continue to invite God into this place.

Who knows that God is here and He wants to meet with us tonight.

He wants to speak to every single individual.

You know, whether you've known God for many years or maybe you're here and you're just visiting.

You know, if you think for a little, a couple of minutes, you're probably wondering, how did I even end up here in this place at Hillsong Brisbane City? How did I end up here in this room tonight? Can I tell you, God wants to meet with you tonight.

He wants to speak to you.

He wants not my words, but the living, active Word of God.

His words for you.

He wants to shape you, to change you, to transform your life today.

You know, His promise for you is that when we live with God, we can experience life and life in abundance.

And so tonight, I'm just going to pray to that end as we read the Word of God, as we open to His words for us, that we wouldn't just experience a momentary you know, a fleeting moment of relationship with God, but we would leave transformed.

That every single one of us, as the Word of God pierces our hearts, pierces our souls, that it would not return void, that it would change something in us.

Do you believe that tonight, church, that God would meet with us here in this place, in this building, as the church? If you would, if you're comfortable, would you close your eyes as we pray? Maybe even just extend your hands out as if you are about to receive from God, if you're comfortable here.

God, we thank you that you are here in this place.

Lord, that you've gone before us, that we aren't here trying to meet an absent God, that you are here, Lord, that your presence is here.

I pray that you would open our hearts today even for a moment, so that as we read the Word of God, that we would be changed.

Lord, that I would be changed.

Lord, that I would be inspired by Your Word.

God, that it would transform every individual that would hear what You have for us tonight.

And so we pray that You would move in a way that only You can.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would have Your way.

God, we pray that Your kingdom would come.

that your will would be done here in this place as it is in heaven.

And so we love you, Jesus.
