For every job Goodwill posts, 54 people apply. Now, with the Refresh app, every one of them leaves with job leads, benefits and local resources, and that connection stays in place long after a program…
Kevin SchneiderHostI say that in the fact that there's so many of them that employees can't activate and use them effectively because there's too much complexity.
Your average corporation right now has something in the apps, tools, resources, communication channels.
For your average deskless worker, which is 80% of the workforce, they're not using any of that.
I think the stats on usage rates for most tools within the HR space are right around 10% to 15% usage.
That's insanely low, especially when you think about the value that's being lost to a certain extent by people not knowing what they have and not using it.
Billions, hundreds of billions of dollars of expenditure that goes to waste every year.
It's the way that they're delivered and the way that they're connected to people.
We think about this as a gap, a delivery gap, or I mean, I guess a better way to think about it is a culture management gap, right? Companies buy these things because they want to show that they value you as an employee and to give you a reason to belong to that organization, right? Especially in distributed work courses, your hourly rate, you know, $15, $20, $25 an hour, it's great.
So companies are providing these benefits and resources to say, hey, we've got a really great culture.
We've got a really good reason for you to belong to this organization versus another organization.
But if that isn't felt, if that is an experience, all that goes away and you've got this gap between what's being designed at the middle and what's actually reaching the edges of your organization.
What Refresh does is sit above all that stuff and connect it together and deliver it to that user.
