You know, I'm remembering, hopefully correctly, our first conversation on this show, probably mid 2020, 2021.
And, uh, you told the story at the time of, of the, the lockdowners being able to actually track our car movements through the old system.
Um, in certain states and in certain cities, you weren't allowed to go certain places.
I was not allowed to cross state lines, uh, particularly if I was driving from DC north.
I actually had a legal dispensation as a, as a, as a member of the media Um, because we were special.
Um, a- and like, I, I don't think people remember this, but think about the new system-
It's, you know, this is gonna be framed as you're depriving the police of a valuable tool.
No, they can still do their job with technologies that are available, but it has to remain within the confines of the Constitution, specifically the Fourth Amendment.
And if we build a system that we trust is going to be utilized by good people...
And look, I mean, you know, I know a lot of our folks in the sheriff's office and the Knoxville Police Department, they're great people.
