Kaila StrongGuestSo you've been monster truck driving for what? Got to be close to 20 years now, right? 20 years.
Yeah, I started in December of 2005.
Okay.
So how does one get into...
I understand that you weren't necessarily thinking you were going to be a monster truck driver.
You my understanding.
Tell me if I'm wrong about this story.
But my understanding is that you were watching television.
That's pretty cool.
Maybe I should go to that.
And from there, you kind of fell in love with the sport and the rest is history.
Is that right? Yeah.

And we were in the hospital in Minneapolis, Abbott Northwestern, on permanent bed rest for about three months.

And we were there for, it ended up being about three years that we stayed at Children's

And I spent every night in there with my one daughter that was actually in there the whole time.

And one of those nights, I was just sitting there with her and flipping through channels in her room and had an event going on at Monster Jam or at the Metrodome there.

that night and i needed a break from reality for a little bit i knew she was in good hands with the rest of my family there and and the doctors nurses so i just kind of bugged out and i went and got probably the worst seat in the house up in the very top yeah but It was it was enough.
