Ep67: How to Respond to "You're So Busy" (And What to Ask Instead) | Hardcore and At Ease - powered by Others Over Self® Someone tells you "you're so busy," and it lands like an attack, like you…

Oh, as I reflect on that conversation with you, I have to tell you something just between us.

Right in the middle of that conversation, I said to her, please tell me that somewhere in here, Catherine de Decker has found a way to be at ease.

Where's Catherine? I said both of these things with so much love and I still did the exact same thing that I can't stand.

I looked at a woman who plans her own life on purpose and I told her that she was too busy.

I don't like this because I know how it feels when someone says that to me and my immediate response is, I planned it that way.

So when I did this to Catherine, she took it in stride like the professional she is.

She skipped right over trying to explain it and she never apologized for being too busy.

And she said it like it was the most natural thing in the world because for her it is.

Your way to recharge doesn't have to look like mine or your best friend's or anyone else's.

And I really hope that you caught this part of that conversation when she said she won't hold herself back waiting for someone else to come along.

And she also won't hold them back from doing the things that recharge them either.
