how did substances come into your life then i mean and and was it a conversation in the household growing up

the last time i see my dad uh struggled with alcohol when i was like five years old

okay

you know he looked at me he was like uh i choose my kids and then i'll call then he dumped out i remember he dumped all his alcohol and then yeah he was sober ever since wow and But yeah, with me, it wasn't until, you know, high school and then, you know, the kids, my friends would go grab a bottle of a liquor or whatever and just to go drink in the back alley.

And that's how it started.

Just drink a little bit of cooler and get a little buzz.

And so that was my introduction

of

alcohol.

It became a problem when I was like 17, 18, when my parents divorced.

Okay.

Yeah, my mom kind of went crazy and kicked my dad out.

And then a week later, she kicked me out.

And I remember that one day, she just said, Ralph, you have to go.

You have to leave.

And then I woke up in the morning, and my dad was gone.

You didn't know why?

I didn't know why.

But yeah, I contacted him a couple days later, and then he told me everything.

And then I guess my mom was with another guy this whole time.

Oh, no.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Who, who, who actually moved in as soon as they kicked me out.

Oh boy.
