okay you have this uh series on instagram which really resonated with me about the and and so many other people by the way um the millennial identity crisis and i would love for you to unpack that a little bit more because i think you just covered it so eloquently yeah

every time i post something about it i get a message from instagram saying um notification from instagram and somebody probably notify instagram you know that mental health thing so like instagram saying that i'm not okay so like check in on her but i'm like i'm okay i'm just like i think that our generation have uh mastered performance before self-awareness And again, self-reflection.

We were taught to, you know, we had checkboxes, what we had to do, like go to school, go to university, get a BTO, then, you know, get married, you know, all the checklists.

But then I realized it's a global problem, especially when I started posting about it.

But unfortunately, I think it's come to a time where we, you know, I keep going back to this, whether it's, you know, when it comes to parenting, whether it comes to life, you I remember this very clearly.

When I gave birth, I was in the ward reading a parenting book and I saw a quote from Maya Angelou.

And I'm paraphrasing, but it's something to do with, you know, you do the best with what you know now, but once you know better, you do better.

Some people have multiple houses, but that's not necessarily the case for millennials now.

Now we have an entire generation of people walking around looking perfectly fine, looking great.

What more is there to life other than checking all these boxes? And the funny thing is, a lot of people don't realize they're not okay.
