Now, I Since I was on the Appropriations Committee, since I was chair of the Defense Committee, we did a lot of work on this very budget, by the way, that they're not going to take up.
And I can tell you, and I've told you many times, and this is a fact, this is a very dangerous time in the world.
And we're going to use a budget that's basically two years old to fund everything, including our military.
amongst the leadership on the Democratic side is it would be far worse if we had a government shutdown.
And when you're there, it's a whole different world trying to sort through all the stuff that's going on.
But the truth is we're seeing this administration, Donald Trump in particular, with the help of Elon Musk, and maybe it's the other way around, Elon Musk with the help of Donald Trump, do their level best to take a chainsaw or hand grenade, a meat cleaver, whatever you want to say to the government, and they're destroying it.
Yesterday I was on Aaron Burnett and I was on with a guy named Mark Sanford, former governor from South Carolina, and I said, they've blown a chance to reduce government because I think there's an opportunity to make it more efficient.
The people in the FSA office, we need more of those folks to be able to service the folks that are raising food for this country.
