Ukrainians

And so are you, I'm sure.

[laughs] And the thing is, Maria, your organization has been helping a lot of Ukrainians, particularly since twenty twenty-two, since the full-scale invasion.

Yes, a lot.

If there's ever a good example of a Polish person who's gone out of her way to help Ukrainian refugees, Maria is it.

It was adrenaline.

And, uh, very important work.

So as a result of that, lots of Ukrainians came here.

Three hundred families.

rent freeze, cheaper public transportation, and a cap on the wages of parliamentary representatives of the party at just above the average national wage.

Perhaps their most important and glaring difference is they are not in favor of the war in Ukraine or of Germany imposing hardship on its own people in order to fund Mr. Zelensky and the Ukrainians in that part of the world.

They are also clearly, like their right-wing counterpart, the Aufstand für Deutschland, are not at all happy with having cut off from Russia and thereby deprived German industry and German workers of jobs in those industries because they can't access cheap Russian oil and gas which had fueled the German economic miracle for decades before the war in Ukraine brought all that to an end.

And then there's the candidate the Linker Party for mayor of Berlin.
