It’s Tuesday, so it’s Tajweed Tuesday — where we break down the tajweed rules from the ayat our students learn on Saturday at Qaswa Madrasah. Grounded is a reader-supported publication. To receive…
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Today is Tuesday.
Every Tuesday, we read a portion from the surah of the term, and then we dissect its Tajweed rules.
The surah for this term, term three of twenty six and next term, term four will be Surah Al-Kahf.
And we've been reading Surah Al-Kahf from the beginning of this term, and today Inshallah, we'll be reading ayat thirty-two until thirty-six.
As usual, if you find the entire portion of, uh, the ayat of the week too long, break it down, um, small amounts.
Just make sure that it is smooth.
One ayah, smoothen it out.
Repeat over and over again until you read it correctly, and then tomorrow add a little bit more, and tomorrow add a little more.
And by the end of the week, you'll ha- you'll have covered the entire portion of the ayat of the week.
Remember, always remember, uh, con- consistency beats intensity, always.
We wanna see consistency.
Ten minutes a day, fifteen minutes a day will do wonders.
Easiest way is to just set up your timer, take out your phone, ten-minute timer, and I'm gonna read.
And I'm just gonna repeat, make sure that I'm gonna read it smoothly.
And whatever you get within that ten minutes, as long as it's quality, stop, and then continue again tomorrow.
All right.
Without further ado, let's get started.
We are on page two hundred and ninety-seven if you're using the Madina Mushaf.
