so i was like oh i have a shit ton of picture pictures of this place there was more of me in there you're like whatever i'm gonna start with a little bit of the history of the place okay So the old Idaho penitentiary, AKA the old pen operated for 101 years from 1872 until December of 1973.

So more than 13,000 men were incarcerated there
during the
period.
I would have thought more, but okay, it's small then.
It's not super big.
Yeah.
So the Idaho State Historical Society currently cites 217 women also having served some time there, although one exhibit page gives a narrow figure of about 214.

Between 1887 and 1968.

So there were someone that served
some time there as well.
Interesting.
I wonder how that happens.

So some of the people incarcerated there were only 10 to 11 years old.

I was in, I think, Ireland.
