9-27-26 Deb Won't Debate

Man, we've been all over the state, but there's a lot of issues out there right now.

We've had a lot of discussions around various different things, but we've got the new hot topics that are happening this past week.

Yes, and I was going to ask you why, according to your opponent's campaign, you won't debate your opponent.

Well, I don't think that's true at all.

That's what she said.

I know that's what she said.

And that's what her campaign staff is saying.

And they know it's not true.

And the fact of the matter is, and I've been interviewed on this at this point a dozen times on various different radio shows and TV stations.

Yeah, I've been interviewed about this, where they're now putting a microphone and a camera in my face saying...

What say you? And I even had to go on News Nation because somebody called me and they said, oh, Deb Haaland was just on News Nation saying you won't debate her.

And I'm like, that's not true.

And she said, well, you know, we gave eight dates.

All we have to do is find a date that works for him and he just needs to pick that date and I'll be happy to be there.

And there's a lot of stuff going on in the background.

Well, what? we got a copy of a email that came from KRQE and that email went out to her campaign saying, Hey Deb, when we asked you for a debate, you only told us you had three dates available on news nation.

You said you had eight.

What were the other five? And so I'm not imagining that they responded to that email because the next email that came out was Greg, I won't debate.

So we're just going to end this side show.

Well, Derek, Debating in front of the citizens of New Mexico is not a sideshow.

It's an obligation.

And so that's why I've told everybody I will be at the KOB debate on the 8th at 6 p.m. And there'll either be two candidates there or one, but I will be there.

And that's what people are asking.

Are you going to be okay with that? Yeah.

I do one-on-one interviews all the time.
