And that's why we've got to stay focused on the real issues, Derek, which are health care, CYFD, out of control crime and rebuilding our public safety systems throughout the state to make sure that we're keeping our citizens safe and economic development.

Those are some of the critical, critical issues.

And then we roll down to I think the one that most people talk about is education.

that? If this was a debate, I would have responded saying, well, I feel that the most important thing to do for day one is protect our children, especially those in the CYFD system.

And that was the comment that I gave in my interview without understanding or knowing what she had said.

So do you have full custody of them, or what's that looking like?

Well, I was dealing with CYFD and that, and I don't even know They had signed some papers in that and it wasn't supposed to be for me to lose custody of my kids.

So now I think they tricked me.

When was the last time you had an encounter with CYFD or not when they contacted you? It's been a while.

They want to know what we're going to do with the education system in the state of New Mexico.

And for goodness sake, they want to know who's going to finally take responsibility and fix CYFD.

So where do we go from here? And by the time this show airs, we'll be just a week out from early voting.

And that was the other thing, too, to point out.

But Secretary Haaland said that this was the most pressing issue facing the state of New Mexico.

And I disagree.

I think CYFD is even more pressing because we can put a data center on hold or we can put it on pause or we can say no to it, whatever you want to say.

But what's critical right now is making sure that we're helping our children and making sure that we're not pushing 15-year-old children across international borders.
