We are back, Gary, and the Packers are also back, too, collapsing in the fourth quarter.
I'm sure Matt LaFleur and the coaching staff, that's all they talked about really in the offseason, was trying to finish these games.
And we saw during the preseason, I thought maybe they turned the corner a little bit, but it's still there.
But they've got to get a certain mindset within this team that they've got to finish these games off.
So as you know, this program, now back for its third year, is centered on the idea that we've had 24 hours to kind of sit on this, right? Win or lose, we separate ourselves from the emotion of the game as best we possibly can.
Is this a sign of things to come? Is this correctable? Are there obvious answers around the corner? What challenges all of that in game number one, Gary, is that it's the first game.
If the Packers are 6-0 and they throw up a clunker against any team, you look at it, you're maybe annoyed by it, frustrated, but bigger picture, you've got a pretty good steady run of success and you move on to the next game.
How much more challenging is it for coaching staff, for a team, and I'm sure the fan base, to move on when you lay an egg.
And this could end up going on to be the worst loss of the season for the Green Bay Packers.
I hope there is not a day where we're doing this show talking about a loss that is more painful or worse than this latest collapse by Matt LaFleur's Packers.
But how much more difficult is it for everybody in that building to move on, given it was game number one?
