But this training camp, my frustration is that we head into the season and I don't feel like I have a very good handle on who these guys are.
Like, Back in the day, and again, I don't want to be the old man yelling at the cloud, but I came out of training camp.
In the third preseason game, the starters not only played the first half, but then played the first series or even two of the second half because, hey, we've got to see how you handle adjustments at halftime.
I'm going to go Friday night to Packers Cardinals to watch a bunch of guys that, I mean, some will be on the roster, some will be on the practice squad, but a lot of guys I'll never see them again.
So when you started talking about all the things you were doing, I was like, where's he going with this? And then I realized you were talking and analyzing the team way more than you used to with, what, a third of the knowledge that you used to get from practices? Right.
And so I just, you know, and at practice and look, it's my job to get as much information as I can for our fans.
When you're doing a radio show while practice is going on, you're not gleaning as much information as, say, my buddy Bill Huber from Sports Illustrated, who is charting every single play.
I tend to take more of a 30,000-foot view instead of the minutiae, just because I can't multitask to that degree.
But the vibe I have is either the Packers' defense, at least until yesterday, is pretty awesome.
or the Packers' offense ain't great and is still searching because the defense has won more often than the offense, from what I have observed.
Packers versus Cardinals yesterday was a knockout, at least in the two-minute period.
You know, the Packers offense had some success, but it was not, you know, Zayven Collins had an interception on Love.
Like, there were, you know, they lost all four of their two-minute drills, which, you know, Packers have a lot of joint practices.
I can't think of a time where the Packers went 0 for 4, but that's what happened yesterday.
