... wait long.
Like three or four hours after we released the preview episode, boom, compartment syndrome, emergency surgery, out for the entirety of the Basho.
I believe he is still hospitalized for that.
Oh.
And has had to undergo multiple-
Yeah
... surgeries for that compartment syndrome, something that is, uh, very, seems to be very serious.
Don't know if this is something he's going to be able to recover from in time for the next Basho to be back and stay in the top division.
So we might be looking at November juryo Wakatakakage when he was just coming off a yusho and-
Mm-hmm
... potentially setting himself up for another ozeki run, which once again, thwarted by injury.
Yeah, I did some looking into this one 'cause I had never heard of this.
