Wakatakakage Atsushi

Magashira East and West number 6 has besties Asanayama up against Ichiyamamoto.

Look, if you've never seen it, Ichiyamamoto does a video where he displays all of his hero Wakatakakage's merchandise.

And Asanayama was his happy helper holding it all.

It's a very funny video.

A couple of them we already knew coming into this, but it was made official earlier today, I believe.

Wakatakakage is Cujo, still recovering from compartment syndrome, but he is rehabbing.

His Oyakada has been saying the key is not to rush his return and make sure that everything is done properly, which I can only respect.

So, which would mean that by the time we get to, say, January, Wakata Kitagawa will be in Jury O.

Hopefully we'll see him.

Other, uh, guys that are injured, we will not be seeing Wakatakakage, obviously.

And Maegashira 12, we have Wakatakakage, who will not be showing up, who has a huge scar on one of his legs from the surgery that he has, and he is enjoying the time off.

He's super smiley and relaxed right now.

He is committed to standing back on the dojo and competing again.

So don't know exactly when Wakatakakage will be back, but it will not be in September.

It seems like in recent history with an 0-15 record is Maegashira 10.

And Kinbozan is rising up four ranks after a 9-6 record from Maegashira 14.

All right, so he's not at Maegashira 10.

How low can Wakatakakage go? At Maegashira 11 on the east side, we do have Wakamoto Haru.
