Being a Man, Leader, Giver

The giving part of being a contributor in a church, being a member of a church, being a family in a church, it really does something to your soul, Jack.

When you know that you're a contributor, then you go, you are wanting the best for that church.

You are investing in something that is investing in you.

This is a symbiotic circle.

And it's actually how God intended it to be.

There are people that whinge that the church isn't doing X, Y and Z.

But yet Malachi says, test me in this with your tithes and offerings.

Not just that we would be open windows of heaven over your life, but there would be food in my house.

The pathway for the provision for the house of God.

is through the tithes and offerings of its members.

And God set it up that way.

If you look, I actually did a full study through the Bible.

I read through the whole Bible in like about three weeks.

Last time I did it, January.

And that was actually a thing that stuck out to me.

There was two things that stuck out to me.

If you read through the whole thing of the Bible, A, God says, can you trust me with the Sabbath? Next one, can you trust me with the tithe? the fortunes and the faith of Israel went up and down and you can track it to people trusting God with Sabbath and with the tithe.

every time, every single time.

If you can trust God, he will take care of the church and the church will take care of its people.

This is how God sets it up.

And so what we need to be is men who actually lead our family in that journey.

Hey, this is what God says, and we're going to trust him.

Trust him with the Sabbath, but trust him with the tithe as well.

So it's teaching your kids.

And right out of the gate, as a man of God, Bex and I, we would sit and So Bex not being the man of God, but as a teamwork, but it's my role as the man of God to lead my family in this.
