Record Shop Talk: Standout Canadian record shop & eBay bucket lists

And they just, the store just celebrated its 25th anniversary.

How old is Luna?

Luna's pushing 11 years now.

Okay, that's good.

Getting up there.

Now, you've been to Sonic Boom.

I have, yes.

Actually, fairly recently over the holiday for Christmas, I spent a little bit of time in Toronto and had the opportunity to go spend an afternoon in Sonic Boom.

It was pretty great, man.

It's a lot of records.

I love records as much as the next person.

There's a point where I'm looking at records and I'm like, I feel like I'm up to my neck.

It was a fever dream for me.

I wish I could have spent two days there and I still wouldn't have gotten through half of the records they had.

It was ridiculous.

So you were kind of feeling overwhelmed.

It was like the happiest overwhelmed I've ever been.

It's like when it's on your birthday and you get too many presents and you're like, shit, I can't say thank you this many times.

I was a kid in a candy shop.

I was flipping through records I hadn't seen.

And with it being in Toronto, there's a bunch of Canadian records there, which I love imports so naturally I was...

I was picking up like Canadian Gordon Lightfoot records because why the hell not? It's awesome, man.

I know you're, you're fairly close to Toronto.

If you ever get a weekend, you should, you should go spend it in Toronto.

And it's pretty, it's Sonic Boom is a, is a sight to behold.
